For over 25 years, Green Marine has been building many of the world’s best known racing and cruising yachts: Volvo Round the World Race contenders, America’s Cup challengers and cutting edge cruising superyachts. We have completed over 160 boats and clocked well over 2 million man hours building yacht structures. With approximately 110 employees, working in 2 factories, we are one of the largest, most experienced and best equipped advanced composite boatyards in the world. We are primarily custom yacht builders, working at the exotic end of the materials spectrum; but in addition, we are usually working on a variety of projects for the offshore oil and construction industries as well. We specialise in composite components with the highest possible strength and the lowest possible weight: a philosophy equally suited to the most exotic of racing boats, the most extreme of offshore rescue craft, as well as the largest composite components required by civil engineering contractors and ship builders. We welcome the opportunity to quote on large scale advanced composite work, whatever the application. In Build and Yacht Build-Slot Availability... Under discussion are a variety of new build projects for this year and next, but as always if you have an interesting project on the drawing board we’d like to hear from you. We are launching two new racing yachts from our Lymington yard in the next few months; we therefore have a build slot available for a cruising or racing yacht up to approx 25m in our Lymington yard from May onwards. Production of RNLI Tamar Lifeboats is currently being moved from our Southampton factory to the Waterloo Road factory in Lymington. The intention is to make a second build slot available for large composite yachts of between 25m and 55m. The move will be completed during May this year, enabling us to start the tooling for a new build in July this year. Contact Green Marine
