New Apprenticeships at Green Marine
(Applications for 2010 entry to be with us by April 19th)
We are pleased to announce that Green Marine will be joining the recently announced government-backed Apprentice Expansion Programme.
As a result, we are looking for 4 new Boat Building Apprentices, of which 2 will be based at GM Lymington and the other 2 at GM Southampton.
The process begins with an application to us. If you are selected, we will arrange an assessment and interview day, to be organised by our apprentice training providers, Paragon Training in Fareham.
From the Interview and assessments, 4 apprentices will be selected at the beginning of June 2010. They will then attend a 12 week full time pre-apprenticeship course at Paragon in Fareham over the summer, before beginning work at our Lymington or Southampton factories in September 2010. During their training period, Apprentices work four days week at Green Marine and have one day per week release to college.
